Herpes type 1 - some queries

Hi, posting here to seek advices from experienced bros or anybody with knowledge on hsv-1

I went for a checkup recently and I have hsv type-1 (everything else is clean). The doctor told me not to be too worried about it but since it was labelled as an std, i went to check it out online for more information.

What i understand now is:
- hsv type 1 is very common
- can be transmitted at very young age if there is saliva contact
- can be transmitted from oral to genitals if there is oral sex involved.

However there are some questions i hv that i couldnt find answers online.
Hope to seek some advices or answers here.
- can hsv-1 be transmitted via saliva (kissing/oral) without lesions or active cold sores?
- is there anyway to check if i hv oral or genital hsv-1? I hv no recollection of cold sores or genital lesions
- assuming i hv oral hsv-1, can i pass it to my partner via intercourse? What i read online is that hsv-1 can be transmitted via exchange of bodily fluid, but there is also articles saying that oral hsv-1 is transmitted to genital via oral sex (didnt specify whether or not if it's during cold sores)
- if i do not hv cold sores and i giv my partner (female) oral sex, will i be transmitting hsv-1 to her?
- am i now considered someone with an std? Is there a need to declare that i hv hsv-1?
I have recently just met an amazing girl and would like to settle down with her but this hsv-1 is really bothering me now. I used to visit fls and hv intercourse with condoms but i do kiss and hv received bbbj. I hv stopped visiting since july this year. Quite regret now because i hv no idea if i got it before all my visits or after. Also she has sexual partner before so i am not sure if she has it already or not. and we are still at the hand stuff stage but i am feeling very troubled by my recent discovery of hsv-1 from my health checkup.

basically you dont have to worry too much abt it ....... do read on the shedding period though
