Thumbs up Chitchat Terrex affair - an unexpected gift for the PAP

An honorable member of the Coffee Shop Has Just Posted the Following:

Apparently the entire affair has turned into PRC, a giant attempting to bully a much smaller nation situation. Forget about the logistics screw-ups, side-steeping the obvious questions, the breach of national security etc.

Views indicate that not only Singaporeans but foreign countries are fully behind Singapore and its leaders. Viv B and Ng have received compliments on the "tough" position they have taken.

How gullible can Singaporeans get? A massive cock-up.

Reminds of the death of artiliery soldiers in NZ when some hero in procurement decided to buy cheaper rounds which turned out to be faulty from PRC. SAF immediately promoted everyone including the dead so they they can claim death benefits from the higher grade, treat the matters as something arising from a heroic battle, avoid litigation and spin it as something associated with the unpredictable when it comes to the military. The only army in the World that promotes its soldiers posthumously after a training debacle.
